Central Montana Jaycees
Projects
Check out some of our recent projects! If you are passionate about filling a need in the community, join the chapter and we can make work together to make it happen.
Beer Gardens at the Fair
This is our most popular annual project! The chapter runs the Beer Gardens during the week of fair. We couldn't do it without the many volunteers who pitch in to help plan and work through the week. Profits from the Beer Gardens are put towards our Yearly Grant Program, where we award money to youth organizations in Central Montana. With the Jaycees, we make sure the profits stay local! Civic Center Teen Room
Members of the chapter came together to build 4 game units for the Teen room at the Civic Center. We purchased, donated, and assembled two arcade game consoles, a foosball table, and a giant connect four game.
Winnett Aces Donation
After hearing a project proposal at one of our chapter meetings, members discussed and voted on donating $10,000 dollars to the Winnet Aces for their main street revitalization project. We were able to tour the sight and attend a Main Street Jam session at the building being updated. This building will help meet the needs of the community of Winnett. Community Cupboard Food Drive
We held a food drive in front of Town and Country in Lewistown to gather donations for the Central Montana Community Cupboard. We had a list of most needed items and the community answered the call. We received 252 items which came to 405 pounds of food. The next day, the chapter matched the number of items donated - buying 252 more items for the Community Cupboard!
